Conscience Point Historic Site and Nature Walk
North Sea Road, Southampton, NY Open Sunrise to Sunset

In 1640 pioneers left Lynn, Massachusetts, seeking religious freedom from a state oligarchy landed on this spot in North Sea Harbor off the Great Peconic Bay. They moved inland and established the hamlet of Southampton. The site is adjacent to the Conscience Point National Wildlife Refuge with 60 acres of maritime grasslands, a host of birds, and miles of nature trails.
