Beach Chair Poetry Series Four poets will read their work out-of-doors at different Museum properties. July 10th, 5:00pm Anne Porter: widow of Fairfield Porter, she wrote all her life; Living Things was published in 2006. Kay Kidde: teacher, agent, editor at Harcourt Brace; published Early Sky and Sounding for Light. Dan Giancola: professor of English; his books include Songs From the Army of the Working Stiffs. Jackie Moss: lives in Quoque; her latest book Not Tonight was published in 2000. July 24th, 5:00pm
Tammy Nuzzo-Morgan: founder of The North Sea Poetry Scene; hosts Arts Forum on Chanel 20. David Bunn Martine: artist, woodcarver, musician and Director/Curator of the Shinnecock Museum. Sarah Kain Gutowski: teacher; published poems in Threepenny Review and Baltimore Review Drew Moss: independent filmmaker, and multi-instrumentalist with trio Goliath and Reverend Mojo. August 7, 5:00pm Linda Opyr: honored Poet oj Renown during National Poetry Month, author of 5 books of poetry George Wallace: author of 14 chapbooks of poetry, he is editor of Poetrybay (www.poetrybay.com). Walt Dawydak: professional engineer, attorney, and adjunct professor of environmental health. Lucas Hunt: literary agent; won a John Steinbeck Award for poetry and is the author of Lives.

Harvest Day Costume tradesmen and crafters will demonstrate woodcarving, broom making, blacksmithing weaving and many more traditional skills. Civil War re-enactors will make camp and march. September 27, 10:00am - 4:00pm $5 adults, free for children 17 and under

Strawberry Social: Simply Spring Series with the East End Home Arts Guild Ellen Greaves will teach students how to prepare strawberry soup and a salad, with strawberry shortcake. June 12, 10:30am - 1:00pm $50 members, $65 non-members.
Summer Canning Series with the East End Home Arts Guild: Jams & Jellies Learn to capture the rich flavors of summer fruit. July 10, August 14, September 11, 10:30am - 1:-00pm $50 for a single class or $130 for the series for members. $65 for a single class or $150 for the series for non-members.
